HAYLEY PATTEN

Director

Originally from Scotland, Hayley has over 20 years' experience in pharmaceutical sales, medical education, advertising, training and communication. Her passion for medical education led to the formation of Taylor-Patten Communications in the UK, developing bespoke, disease-state, interactive training programmes for healthcare professionals.

Her inauguration to the Medical Aesthetic sector came with a role as Business Development Manager at Allergan Australia, where her clinical expertise and extensive anatomical knowledge, and caring, competent stewardship of her trainees, made her one of the most highly-regarded and sought-after clinical trainers in the industry. Moving into the National Medical Education Manager's role with the renowned Allergan Academy, Hayley oversaw the Australian launch of Belkyra (TM) and MDCodes (TM), shaping the ANZ-wide educational strategy for these critical products to the Allergan portfolio.

Since 2018, Hayley has incorporated her passion for education within the anti-ageing sector, by hands on treatment of patients with an Ultraformer (TM) device, and in 2019, co-founded The Aesthetic School with Jo Hannah. As Clinical and Communications trainer of TAS, Hayley excels in developing the (usually neglected) "soft skills" such as patient communication, advanced facial assessment, and cosmetic consultations, which, she believes, can transform a mediocre injector into a master of their craft.

JOANNE HANNAH

Director

Jo has an extensive background in pharmaceutical sales, marketing, training and business development. Her introduction to the Medical Aesthetics industry came with a role at Allergan as a Business Development Manager where she quickly discovered her forte in helping medical cosmetic clinics grow their businesses. In 2014, Jo founded Total Face group, and as CEO and MD of TFG, she pioneered the submission process, clinic acquisition, and capital raising for the first aesthetic business to list publicly on ASX in 2017.

Jo's knowledge of the aesthetic sector and a powerful desire to create a unique, holistic care clinic closer to her home and family, led to the birth of Hannah Aesthetics in 2018, where Jo's vision and hands on approach drives every aspect of client interaction, and her attention to detail at each stage of the patient journey has created a thriving cosmetic business that offers a unique experience to all who pass through its doors. Her passion for training medical professionals in business acumen and commercial awareness led to the founding with Hayley Patten of The Aesthetic School in 2019.

Jo also consults to a wider industry base as a valued member of the Nem Australasia network, and loves the diverse range of businesses she is able to nurture in this capacity.

Any sunny weekend off might see her on her Triumph Bonneville Speedmaster flying across the beautiful Mornington Peninsula or patrolling the bay in her capacity as a Search & Rescue officer with the Australian Coastguard.
